MARK PEARSON is Professor of Journalism and Social Media at Griffith University. He is author of Blogging and Tweeting Without Getting Sued and co-editor of Mindful Journalism and News Ethics in the Digital Era and has trained journalists in media law since 1992. MARK POLDEN is a Sydney barrister. He was in-house counsel for Fairfax Media for nearly two decades, and in 2006 was a member of the Australian Law Reform Commission advisory committee on sedition.
