Sound Waves Student Activity Book 1 provides activities that help student build an awareness of sounds (phonemes) and letters (graphemes). It is set out in three phases. Phase 1 introduces the most consonant sounds and the first 5 vowel sounds. Phase 2 revisits and consolidates the sounds in Phase 1. Phase 3 introduces the remaining sounds and further consolidates the sounds taught in Phase 1.
